We are seeking a National Claims Clerk to join our Birmingham office. In this role, you will provide clerical support for the customers and the adjusters.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Provides Support for the PIP Department, supporting the PIP adjusters.
+ Handling of mail in the various systems
+ Handling time sensitive documents
+ Provides prompt, friendly, courteous and accurate service at all times. Enters notes in claim files or e-mails messages to company personnel as appropriate to the situation.
+ Copies, files, pulls files and mails forms and letters and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
**Position Qualifications:**
+ Must be familiar with operation of general office equipment including fax machine, copy machine, etc.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills in order to represent the Company in a professional manner.
+ Must be detail oriented, accurate and use good judgment in making decisions.
+ One year of clerical experience required.
+ Familiar with medical terminology and medical bills.
+ Basic knowledge of Word or Excel.
+ Must have regular and predictable attendance
+ This is an in office job
