A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Newville, Alabama. This role offers the chance to provide specialized speech and language support to approximately 50 students over the course of the 2026-2027 school year, from July 31, 2026, through May 27, 2027. The position requires availability 2-3 days per week, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking a flexible schedule within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
• Promote communication skills that support academic achievement and social interaction.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-aged children in a school setting.
