Aerospace Engineer
- Lead and manage aviation acquisition programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance in structures, propulsion, and/or dynamic components.
- Develop, review, and manage SOWs to ensure clarity and alignment with program requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support airworthiness certification and aviation testing efforts.
- Apply systems engineering principles to integrate and optimize program components.
- Support MBSE initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, standards, and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government and industry partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in aviation acquisition program management (Army preferred; Navy or Air Force acceptable).
- Strong technical knowledge in structures, propulsion, and/or dynamic components.
- Thorough understanding of systems engineering principles, airworthiness certification processes, aviation testing, and SOW development.
- Proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with MBSE tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Army aviation acquisition programs and processes.
