General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of general manager experience in high-volume QSR or fast casual environments
• Proven success managing $2M+in annual revenue
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Hands-on experience with P&L management and cost controls
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations for efficiency, quality, and service speed
• Maintain brand standards for food safety and cleanliness
• Manage P&L, control labor and food costs, and drive sales growth
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
• Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and engagement
• Ensure prompt and friendly guest service while quickly resolving concerns
• Monitor financial and guest satisfaction KPIs and implement improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations and maintain a safe work environment
