Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Verify contents of orders against packing slips, tickets, or receipts
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Sort and distribute packages according to designated routes or storage locations
- Perform data entry to accurately log inventory, shipments, and order details
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions
- Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification required
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience with data entry and inventory logging systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics operations
