Make a difference in students’ lives by providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational environment. An opportunity is available for skilled SLP professionals to fill three onsite contract roles supporting schools in the Alabaster, AL area. Work within vibrant school communities, serving caseloads of approximately 60 students, throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple placement options are available:

• Full-time assignment at Pinson Valley High School
• Split schedule (2 days at McAdory Elementary, 3 days at McCalla Elementary)
• Split schedule (3 days at Hueytown Middle School, 2 days at Lipscomb Elementary)

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of student progress
• Contributing to IEP meetings and providing consultation for instructional staff

Desired background and requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for certain positions
• Current, valid SLP License and SLP Educator Certification for Alabama
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a moderate caseload and adapt to varied school environments
• Fingerprint clearance or willingness to complete background requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
