Premium Plate Supply is looking to grow our production and distribution capabilities and our capacity, so we need to add to our team as well! We need a self-motivated outside sales pro who knows steel and loves the industry. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy the processes of building relationships with clients, and have a proven track record of success in selling plate products, Premium Plate is looking for you to join us!

As a Sales Representative, your goal will be to expand our customer base and create and maintain long-term partnerships in the Northeastern states.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

Develop and promote sales objectives and maximizing sales opportunities and volume

Identify and target potential clients, including manufacturers, distributors, and other steel industry stakeholders

Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets

Collaborating with the internal team to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction

Cultivate lasting customer relationships, understand business needs of customers and grow customer loyalty.

Know our industry. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products and services.

Actively participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to represent Premium Plate well, generate leads and enhance brand visibility

· Regular travel to customer locations, as required.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales

·5 years experience in the coatings, plate fabrication, steel plate, steel mill, storage tank, and marine industries needed

Skills:

· Excellent relationship building skills

· Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills

· Outstanding organizational, presentation and written and verbal skills

· Knowledge of sales and marketing strategy design and implementation.

· Strong full Microsoft Office Suite products skills, especially PowerPoint
