Plant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, and maintenance in a CNC machinery environment.
• Lead, supervise, and develop multiple teams to achieve operational goals and maximize productivity.
• Implement and enforce company standards and rigorous safety procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in heavy machine and fabrication shops.
• Manage labor resources effectively, including scheduling, timekeeping, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to deadlines.
• Foster a positive work environment through strong leadership, team building, and effective communication across all levels of management.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 for reporting, scheduling, and operational management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial management, or business.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a plant manager, supervisory, or related leadership role within a CNC machinery environment.
• Hands-on fabrication experience, preferably 15 years, particularly within an AISC-associated industry.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Proven expertise in managing heavy machine and fabrication shops.
• Exceptional management, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Superior conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds.
