Regional Registered Dietitian

What You’ll Do

As a Regional Dietary Consultant, you’ll be the go-to nutrition expert for long-term care centers in your assigned region. You’ll consult, guide, and elevate the quality of nutritional care and food service across the facilities you support. This role offers a blend of clinical work, education, program oversight, and hands-on resident engagement.

Your impact includes:

1. Conducting initial and ongoing nutritional assessments with clear, supportive documentation
2. Updating and individualizing resident nutritional care plans
3. Recommending and monitoring nutritional interventions to support optimal health
4. Providing one-on-one nutrition counseling to residents, families, and caregivers
5. Partnering closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition goals into overall care plans
6. Offering education and best-practice guidance to food service teams
7. Supplying each facility with approved menus tailored to their residents’ needs

What We’re Looking For

1. Registered Dietitian (CDR) + active state license(s)
2. At least 1 year of post-graduate experience (long-term care preferred)
3. Prior supervisory experience is a plus
4. Genuine passion for working with geriatric, convalescent, or psychiatric populations
5. Ability to travel between facilities, including occasional overnights
6. Patient, positive, and collaborative mindset
