Position Overview:
InLine is seeking a results-driven Superintendent to oversee daily field operations across multiple job sites. This leadership role is responsible for managing field crews and foremen, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and coordinate multiple field crews and foremen across job sites.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to execute work in alignment with project goals and specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to guide field execution.
Schedule and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals.
Conduct daily site visits, safety inspections, and toolbox talks.
Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Track and report job progress, delays, incidents, and daily production quantities.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain workflow and avoid downtime.
Serve as the primary point of contact for field-related issues and communication with vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
Support procurement, logistics, and equipment coordination efforts as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Minimum 5 years of construction experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience managing crews in the following work types is highly preferred:
Underground installations
Pole and traffic signal foundations
Electrical (including low-voltage and infrastructure wiring)
Bridge, roadway, and parking lot lighting
Airport lighting systems
Traffic signals, ITS, and fiber optic systems
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
Proficient in reading construction plans and using scheduling tools.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in an outdoor environment.
Preferred Skills:
OSHA 30 Certification
CDL License or equipment operation experience
Background in electrical, traffic control, or heavy civil projects
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work environment in varying weather conditions.
Frequent travel between job sites within the region.
Requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating around active construction equipment.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or night work as needed.
