PRODUCTION PLANNER
A leading electronics manufacturer in the Leeds AL area is seeking an experienced Production/Material Planner. We are seeking candidates who have an advanced background in production and material planning within a manufacturing environment. ERP systems & SAP experience are a sought out skill for this position. This is a contract to hire position ranging from $26-$30/hour, fully onsite M-F 7AM - 4PM. education: High School responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production schedules based on the availability of raw materials, production capacity, and customer demand.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Monitor production performance to ensure that production schedules are being met and adjust schedules as needed to maintain optimal production flow.
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure that production schedules are aligned with customer needs and that inventory levels are optimized.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
