Night Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Nonexempt

Reports To: Branch Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Availabilityforevening delivery routes.
• Unload inventory from incoming vehicles. Inspect inventory for damage. Process and stock inventory.
• Pickcorrectproduct andquantitiesfor orders. Load racks and trucks with glass.
• Clean glass, assessing stock for damage. Affix proper labels to glass.
• Timely follow deliveryroutesand time schedules to deliverproductand receive returns. Process/record payments and input data intoorderingsystem.
• Safelyoperatethe delivery vehicle.
• Receive and process return stock.

• Complete logs and documentation.
• Communicatewith team leaders as needed to ensuretimelyandaccuratedeliveries.
• Break down boxes, stock accessories, organize inventory, and other warehouse dutiesas directed.
• Interact andassistcustomers during delivery.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pass an MVR check
• Safely and competentlyoperateforklifts, reach trucks, pickers
• Have 3-5 years of driving and delivery experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Be organized,detail orientated,accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environments
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and or take direction in an ever-changing working condition

EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s licenserequired

• CMVDOT Medical cardpreferred
• 2+ years driving or equivalentrequired

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Night Delivery Driver provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries to both our internal and external customers. The Night Delivery Driver will deliver and pick up products from customer drop sites in order to fulfill our customers' needs while performing general driver duties. The Night Deliver Driver will also perform warehouse assignments, and assist customers as needed with the highest regard for safety and accuracy while representing Mygrant Glass both in our warehouses and in the field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal/mobile device; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must have finger grip strength to properly handle glass. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.
