This contract opportunity seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for fostering academic and personal success for children. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, helping students build confidence and vital speech and language skills throughout the school year.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible state SLP licensure
- Prior school experience or experience with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Developing treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Providing direct therapy services, both individual and group
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ IEP goals
- Keeping detailed progress notes and participating in IEP meetings
- Serving as a resource for colleagues regarding speech and language best practices
