Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, trailer areas, and other restricted locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and trailer lots, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Support visitor management and vehicle access activities by maintaining accurate logs, communicating post instructions, and reporting unusual activity, damaged barriers, and/or access issues to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
