Now Hiring: Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist – Behavioral Health (Direct Hire)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $52,500 – $66,000 + Exceptional Benefits

Your Impact

As a Nutritionist in a behavioral health setting, you’ll help patients build healthier relationships with food while supporting treatment for mental health and co-occurring conditions.

• Provide individual and group nutrition counseling as part of behavioral health treatment plans
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans for patients with mental health and substance use disorders
• Support patients managing conditions such as eating disorders, diabetes, and medication-related nutritional concerns
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and clinical staff as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Evaluate, monitor, and document patients’ nutritional status and progress
• Create and deliver nutrition education programs tailored to behavioral health populations
• Develop educational materials that support long-term lifestyle and recovery goals
• Provide guidance to clinical staff on the role of nutrition in mental health and recovery outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential (required)
• Current Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (state required)
• CPR Certification
• Experience or strong interest in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment
• Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and counseling techniques
• Ability to connect with patients in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
