Facilities Engineer

You will be the Facilities Engineer for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and executing the transformation of LockheedMartins physical assets to support missioncritical operations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for delivering safe, costeffective, and scheduledriven facility solutions that enable our programs to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead planning and design of facility reconfigurations, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and mission requirements.


• Conduct feasibility studies and develop detailed cost estimates for equipment, installation, labor, and materials.


• Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to create design criteria, layout, and detailed construction drawings.


• Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and manage contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.


• Oversee construction inspections to verify adherence to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in engineering or related experience.

- Facilities engineering experience

- Proficient in communication and coordination between Program Leadership and Contractors.

- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Lockheed Martin facilities engineering experience
- Project Management experience
- Experience working in a production environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
