Requirements Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL
Clearance: Secret
The selected candidate will be part of a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team and should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative teams comprised of professionals across varying experience levels.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a Master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
- Experience with DOORS, Cameo, and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience authoring requirements and developing verification strategies.
- Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical content to audiences of varying backgrounds.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Must be able to work on-site in an office environment.
- Experience supporting missile defense or large-scale defense systems engineering programs.
- Experience developing objective evidence and presenting at major program events such as Technical Interchange Meetings.
- Experience leading systems engineering efforts through roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master.
- INCOSE or PMP Certification.
