Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - CRE Patrol in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your day will involve conducting routine patrols, interacting with tenants and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll play an important role in communicating with property staff and responding to any security-related concerns that arise. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for potential concerns.
- Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual observations according to established protocols.
- Assist visitors and tenants with inquiries and provide guidance as needed within the commercial real estate location.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management to maintain a secure environment.
- Follow all site-specific instructions and maintain a professional presence at all times while on duty.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
