Snelling is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principle Engineer to lead and oversee complex civil engineering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects with a focus on water/wastewater, ensuring they meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.

Starting Salary: $140,000-160,000; Depending on experience

Job Qualifications & Skills for Principle Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Alabama.
• Additional certifications such as LEED, PMP, or similar credentials are a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in senior or leadership
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and site development.
• Experience in project management, including budget, schedule, and resource management.
• Advanced proficiency in engineering design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, hydrology, geotechnical engineering, and transportation planning.
