A dedicated and passionate Secondary English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher is needed for a full-time contract opportunity supporting students in the Montgomery, AL area. This role is ideal for an educator ready to inspire secondary-level learners and contribute to a positive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging instruction in English Language Arts to secondary students
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with Alabama state standards
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Assess student learning, providing meaningful feedback to encourage growth
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators, administrators, and families to support academic achievement
- Keep accurate records of student progress and other necessary documentation
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama Teacher Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with English endorsement
- Proven ability in classroom management and effective communication
- Genuine commitment to fostering student success and educational excellence
