Personal Trainer / Rehab Fitness Specialist

Position Summary

ChiMedical Management is seeking a motivated, professional, and team-oriented Personal Trainer to work alongside chiropractors and medical personnel in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, posture, rehabilitation outcomes, and overall wellness through customized fitness and corrective exercise programs tailored to medical conditions and treatment plans.

The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, dependable, and comfortable collaborating with healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and long-term health goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with chiropractors, medical staff, and rehabilitation personnel to support patient treatment plans
• Guide patients through safe stretching, strengthening, mobility, and conditioning exercises
• Monitor patient progress and adjust programs as needed
• Educate patients on posture, injury prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and patient interactions
• Encourage patient motivation, accountability, and confidence throughout recovery and wellness programs
• Ensure exercise equipment and therapy areas remain clean and safe
• Assist with patient flow and contribute to a positive clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certification as a Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or equivalent preferred)
• CPR/AED certification
• Experience working with rehabilitation, corrective exercise, sports medicine, chiropractic, or medical fitness environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise modifications for medical conditions
• Self-motivated, dependable, and patient-focused
