Position Overview:

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center , is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven Elementary Teacher: 2nd Grade to nurture academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive classroom environment while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.
• Certification : Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.
• Skills : Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Faith-Based Instruction & Leadership

• Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture.
• Serve as a Christ-like role model in interactions with students, staff, and families.
• Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives.

✅ Engaging & Effective Teaching

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods to create an interactive learning environment.

✅ Student Support & Classroom Management

• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture.
• Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior.
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.

✅ Communication & Collaboration

• Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Provide timely feedback on student progress and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift/move 10-25 lbs , and constantly lift/move up to 10 lbs .

Additional Information:

• Contract Term: 189 days
• Salary: Based on education and experience.
