Your daily activities will involve installing, configuring, troubleshooting, patching, and hardening routers, switches, load balancers, and serial console devices throughout the network. You will actively monitor circuit utilization and bandwidth, performing traffic analysis to identify anomalies that may affect network performance and mission success.Working in both production environments and virtual or physical lab settings, you will validate configurations and troubleshoot issues prior to implementation. Maintaining thorough documentation of incidents and change requests is vital, as is escalating complex challenges to senior engineers when necessary.
