Estimator
We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Estimator to join a leading Company located in the Birmingham, AL surrounding area.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Proven 5-axis & mill-turn estimating experience in aerospace/defense, including flight hardware and thin-wall/orthogrid parts
- Hands-on machining background with strong GD&T, drawing/CAD interpretation, and aerospace material pricing (Al, Ti, Inconel, etc)
- Expertise in building routings, BOM breakdowns, labor/material/tooling/outside process costs, and make/buy decisions
- Solid grasp of AS9100, ITAR/CUI, pricing strategy, margins, risk buffers, capacity metrics, and scheduling logistics
- Advanced ERP/MRP + Excel cost modeling, variance analysis, and lean manufacturing application
