Assistant Property & Casualty Underwriter
Location: Mobile, AL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $16–$22 per hour (DOE) + Benefits
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property & Casualty Underwriter to support the underwriting team. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on policy support, renewals, and risk evaluation. We are not looking for
Key Responsibilities:
- Rate and quote renewal business
- Assist with policy maintenance and underwriting documentation
- Review data and evaluate risk information
- Support underwriters with day-to-day account management
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
What We’re Looking For:
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- Exposure to underwriting, rating, or policy administration
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
