Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a school setting located in Hanceville, AL. This contract position spans from ASAP through May 23rd, 2026, providing a meaningful environment to impact the communication development of diverse student populations.

The role involves managing a learning center caseload of 49 students, including a high-needs group primarily in 5th grade or below, with some high school students as well. This part-time position operates four days a week from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a balanced schedule to maintain work-life harmony. The work is primarily onsite, with some flexibility possible for hybrid or VOCO arrangements, depending on candidate preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in compliance with school policies
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with regulatory requirements
• Deliver targeted interventions for students with communication challenges

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working within school environments and with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload with effective organizational abilities
