HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (CDL A or B REQUIRED)
Automation Personnel Services is looking for skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operators for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner on construction and industrial job sites. This position is ideal for individuals with strong equipment experience seeking steady work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Pay Rate
$23.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes.
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites using CDL A or B vehicles.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures while operating machinery.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, trenching, and material handling.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, climb, and lift as needed throughout the shift.
• Must pass a clean drug screen and background check.
• OSHA certification or additional equipment certifications are a plus.
