The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

About the Role:

Class A CDL driver operates primarily tractor trailer and Front-End Loader and Roll-Off Trucks (Class B). The successful candidate must be self-motivated, an initiative-taker, and take the driver responsibility very seriously. There is growth potential with this position.

Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR.
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level.
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets.
• Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle review.
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records.
• Strong customer service skills
• Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Extensively use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate .

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 hourly, based upon years of service.

Job Type: Full-time

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
