We're looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Mobile, AL . This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with clients and managing all aspects of accounting and tax preparation.

???? Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

• Handle tax returns, including income, sales, and payroll taxes .

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.

• Collaborate with internal staff to support client goals and business operations.

• Communicate directly with clients to provide accounting support and solutions.

✅ Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience , preferably in a CPA firm.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks , Microsoft Excel , and tax software (Thomson Reuters experience is a plus).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting .

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

• Local candidates only - must be based in or near Mobile, AL .
