Maintenance and Reliability Electrical Engineer

ATSS has a client in Calvert, AL looking for a Maintenance and Reliability Electrical Engineer.

The ideal candidate will provide engineering support through reliability processes and function within the highly automated business units Non-grain Oriented Electrical Steel plant (NOES) to meet the business goals of ArcelorMittal Calvert.

The Basics:

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering Discipline required

· Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance)

· Able to perform data analysis on equipment performance

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)

·3 years’ minimum engineering experience

The Extras:

· CMRP Certification

· PdM Certification or Qualification (Vibration, Thermography, Oil analysis, Tribology, Motor Circuit Analysis)

· CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer)

·5+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment (or equivalent industry)

· AutoCad working knowledge

· Working knowledge of SAP

· Familiarity with RCFA, Cause Mapping, Kaizen problem solving methodologies

· Proficiency in writing technical proposals and communications at multiple levels of the organization

· PLC Analysis experience (ABB, SIEMENS preferred)

· Medium voltage drives control process experience (ABB)

· Rolling Mills previous working preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Provides Engineering Support for the Maintenance Team

· Subject Matter Expert for Reliability Engineering practices

· Initiates and Facilitate Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns

· Identifies and proposes solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events

· Participates in execution of critical equipment inspections and analysis

· Analyzes Equipment Data, recommended maintenance plans, drawings, etc.

· Writes technically based Equipment Maintenance Plans

· Performs tracking and trending of equipment maintenance performance

· Review drawings and technical documentation

· Office and Industrial setting in a production unit Non-grain Oriented Electrical Steel plant (NOES)

· Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL

· Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads
