Armored Car Driver/Messenger – Montgomery
Montgomery Armored Car Service, Inc. is looking for an armored car driver/messenger that can work successfully in an armed environment.
- Possess and maintain a clean criminal backround
- Possess and maintain an acceptable MVR
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license, as well as a valid pistol permit
- Be able to read and write in English
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, as well as post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random if necessary
- Be able to safely operate an armored vehicle
- Be willing to work in an armed environment and successfully complete firearms training
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be familiar with the local area/roads/landmarks
- Be able to read and follow directions/read a map
- Follow all local traffic laws
- Possess good customer relations and communication skills
- Be self-motivated and capable of driving for lengths of 6-10 hours at a time
- Drive long distances per day, 250-450 miles, depending on route
- Be able to lift (with hand truck assistance): 75 pounds
- Be familiar with overall vehicle operations and simple repairs while on the road
- Follow all local and state traffic laws in areas traveled
