Monday- Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Florence Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Florence, AL. As a key member of our facility's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily functioning of our facility, allowing our residents and patients to receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities:

Painting Experience

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including janitorial duties, painting, and minor repairs

• Assist with custodial services, including cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, common areas, and equipment

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of services, including moving furniture and equipment as needed

• Operate and maintain various equipment, including vending machines and medical devices

• Restock supplies and materials throughout the facility

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency calls in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial services preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
