The Importance of This Role:
The Service Lane Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth client experience. By managing vehicle flow, maintaining a clean and organized service lane, and assisting the service team, you directly impact client satisfaction and the department's efficiency.
Impact and Key Responsibilities:- Vehicle Management:
- Safely move and park client vehicles in the service area or lot.
- Retrieve vehicles for clients upon service completion.
- Assist with the preparation and return of loaner vehicles.
- Service Lane Support:
- Greet and assist clients as they arrive.
- Keep the service lane organized, clear, and professional.
- Support Advisors and Technicians with vehicle inspections or prep.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Maintain the cleanliness of service areas, waiting rooms, and parking lots.
- Perform restocking and routine cleaning as needed.
- Client Interaction:
- Provide friendly, courteous service and assist clients with inquiries.
- Direct clients to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Team Assistance:
- Support Service Advisors, Technicians, and Managers with daily tasks.
- Assist with special events or seasonal service needs.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
