Service Advisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a local trucking dealership service team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and accurately document vehicle service concerns
Open and close repair orders and clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance
Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, repair status, and completion times
Provide customers with accurate estimates, timelines, and updates
Upsell preventative maintenance and additional services when appropriate
Ensure warranty, billing, and documentation are completed accurately
Maintain excellent customer service standards and follow-up after service completion
Requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Service Advisor (truck or automotive preferred)
Knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, or fleet maintenance is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Customer-service driven with problem-solving abilities
Proficient with computer systems and service software
Valid driver’s license required
Schedule is Tuesday - Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 7am-3pm
