Purpose of the Role

Design and build the connective tissue of Creatures integrated platform. The Integrated Platform Engineer exists to unify production, manufacturing, and business systems into one reliable data architecture eliminating manual processes, preventing conflicting numbers, and enabling clean, scalable execution.

This role does not maintain reports. It builds the infrastructure that makes reporting trustworthy.

Core Accountability

Own the technical integration layer of Creatures operational systems. This role is accountable for building scalable data architecture, internal applications, and automation that reduce friction and protect the integrity of the platform.

Key Accountabilities

1) Platform Integration & Data Architecture

Design and build integrations between Procore, Smartsheet, Sage 300CRE, PowerBI, and internal applications. Develop APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines that create a unified source of truth across the enterprise.

2) Internal Tool & Application Development

Build and maintain internal web applications that support field teams, manufacturing operations, and leadership. Translate operational pain points into simple, usable tools that remove manual work.

3) Data Integrity & Automation

Create automated validation checks and alerting systems to protect data quality. Replace manual transfers with reliable integrations and ensure data cleanliness at the source.

4) Reporting Infrastructure & Scalability

Build the data backbone that feeds dashboards and reporting systems. Ensure systems scale as Creature grows what works for 5 projects must work for 50.

5) Documentation, Governance & Platform Discipline

Document all integrations, system dependencies, and workflows. Partner with IT on infrastructure, deployment, and security. Evaluate new tools against Creatures integration standards before adoption.

Qualifications

Required - Fullstack development experience (frontend, backend, database design). - Strong API development skills (REST, webhooks, data transformation). - SQL proficiency and data modeling experience. - Experience building internal business applications. - Proficiency in modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python, or similar). - Ability to work independently once objectives are clear.

Preferred - Experience with construction or manufacturing systems (Procore, Smartsheet, Sage). - PowerBI or data visualization experience. - Experience with ETL pipelines and data integration patterns. - Familiarity with Azure or Microsoft cloud environments.
