Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and development of IEP goals
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, parents, and staff
• Familiarity with various speech, language, and communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication strengths and needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students’ academic goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech/language goals and progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
