The VP of Sales & Marketing Strategy will focus on strategy rather than direct selling, making this an ideal position for someone who has a track record in sales leadership but now prefers a strategic, analytical role.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance and marketing data to develop and refine effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of account executives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sales targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to ensure cohesive and integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and go-to-market strategies.
• Establish best practices, training, and performance metrics to drive team success and continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular performance reports and present key insights to senior leadership.

• Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, preferably in the security or related industries.
• Strong experience using data and analytics to drive sales and marketing decisions.
• Proficiency with marketing and data analytics tools—such as CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and business intelligence solutions—with the ability to build reports and dashboards for actionable insights.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that achieve measurable results.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a team.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
