As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information, communicate clearly, and document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations using detailed written reports and timely communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Support hospital operations by assisting with wayfinding, managing visitor flow, and/or controlling access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
