Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Boilers, Chillers & HVAC)

Position Summary

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and other plant equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and associated equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues on industrial systems.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to perform repairs.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.

• Assist with installation and startup of new systems or upgrades.

• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support production needs.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.

• Knowledge of pumps, piping systems, and industrial controls.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.

• EPA Certification for refrigerants (preferred but not required).

• Welding, pipefitting, or electrical experience a plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Decatur, AL.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr.
