Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy is seeking a per diem staff pharmacist to provide coverage on select dates, including April 9 and from April 28 to May 1. This role is based in Montgomery, AL, within a busy independent specialty pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will support daily operations during regular pharmacy hours, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and accurately dispense prescriptions
- Manage and oversee the work of one pharmacy technician
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Maintain efficient workflow within a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama State Pharmacist license without any negative history
- Minimum of 2 years of recent retail staff pharmacist experience
- Experience working in a busy independent or specialty pharmacy preferred
- Prior experience with Pioneer RX software is a plus
Pharmacy Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
