⚕️ Position Overview: RN Unit Manager
As a Unit Manager, you’ll oversee daily clinical operations on your unit—ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and strong team performance.
You’ll lead by example, mentor staff, and ensure residents receive the best possible care in a team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage nursing staff on assigned unit
- Ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance
- Conduct rounds and monitor resident conditions
- Review and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary team
- Support staffing, training, and team development
- Address concerns from residents, families, and staff
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Compassionate, resident-centered mindset
