Job Title: ASP.NET Developer

Location: Montgomery, AL (Onsite_ Relocation is fine)

Duration : Long term contract

Note: Candidates must have Verifiable State Government Medicaid Experience (so must have worked at a previous state Medicaid agency previously, not a buyer or insurance company i.e. BCBS or CVS).

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ASP.NET Developer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, and modern web technologies, as well as a solid understanding of cloud-based development using Azure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• ASP.NET MVC & C# Development: 7+ years of hands-on experience developing professional-grade web applications using ASP.NET MVC 5 and C# in Visual Studio.
• Front-End Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Razor, and AJAX.
• Database Development: 7+ years of experience with SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, functions, scheduled jobs, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
• Web Services & APIs: Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Source Control: 7+ years of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Azure DevOps: Proficient in Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines (CI/CD).
• Search Functionality: Experience developing and maintaining site search features.
• Security Tools: Familiarity with implementing robot detection tools such as CAPTCHA.
• Azure Development: Experience with Azure Functions and web application development in the Azure ecosystem.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations.
• Background in content management system (CMS) development.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Proficiency in Power BI for report and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Experience with the Drupal content management framework.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
