Qualifications:

• Active SLP License in Alabama
• SLP Educator certification for AL (see state portal for verification)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred
• Current fingerprint clearance

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K–12 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with teachers, parents, and staff
• Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Ensure documentation meets state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
