Qualifications:
- Active SLP License in Alabama
- SLP Educator certification for AL (see state portal for verification)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred
- Current fingerprint clearance
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with teachers, parents, and staff
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Ensure documentation meets state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
