GlenLakes Golf Club Inc is looking for a personable Golf Shop Associate to join our team in Foley, AL! This position reports to the GM
Family Golf membership and pool membership included. Work minimum of 30-32 Hours per week. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist golfers with merchandise selection, tee time bookings, and general inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing pro shop floor
- Manage inventory, restock merchandise, and assist with product displays
- Coordinate tee sheet management and communicate course conditions to guests
- Assist with golf club rentals, cart assignments, and equipment handling
- Support golf events, tournaments, and outings as needed
- Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of golf, golf equipment, and golf course operations is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and early mornings
- Basic math and cash-handling skills required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
