Location: Union Springs, AL 36089
Pay: $47/hour
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide evidence-based mental health services within a correctional facility setting. This role works as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team to support patient care, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations
• Complete risk assessments and provide appropriate interventions
• Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support
• Develop, implement, and maintain patient treatment plans
• Collaborate with clinical team members and correctional staff
• Coordinate care for patients transitioning back into the community
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and patient records
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Follow safety protocols and standard precautions, including use of PPE
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience in a correctional or similar behavioral health setting
