A day in the field — Mobile, AL

Your day starts at our Mobile shop, loading hardware, lifts, and materials for a new install. You review the blueprint, confirm measurements, and head to the site. Once there, you survey anchor points, verify power access, and coordinate with the client on final placement. By midday, you’re safely operating tools and equipment to position interior wayfinding and exterior signage. In the afternoon, you test illumination, perform touch-ups, document the work, and ensure the site is clean and secure. Before finishing, you note maintenance recommendations and confirm the client is thrilled with the result.

What you’ll do

• Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of signs, both indoor and outdoor.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to deliver accurate installations.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects on time.
• Partner with teammates and communicate with clients to meet project specs.
• Conduct on-site surveys to assess requirements and recommend solutions.
• Follow local regulations and safety standards throughout every installation.
• Perform routine maintenance to extend sign life and keep systems functioning.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service and resolve concerns promptly.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in sign installation or a closely related trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with confidence using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail.
• Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
