I.T. Systems Manager

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The I.T. Systems Manager with a focus on energy trading and midstream is a key analytical role for our IT program and business systems application stack. This position will provide technical support oversight and administration including: tracking, monitoring, optimization, and maximizing availability of key financial and business applications especially the energy trading and midstream systems. The right candidate should have experience supporting ETRM systems and experience in natural gas industry business process, terminology, and standard data values. This role will report to the Director of IT Enterprise Systems.

Position Requirements:

• Prior experience with any of the following ETRM systems: FIS Aligne, EMK3, ION, OpenLink, Triple Point, Allegro, Quorum, FIS SunGard ZaiNet, PipeOps, GasOps, or Gas Transaction Management (GMS).
• Experience with energy trading business processes for an oil and gas company.
  • Deal origination, pre-bid preparation, nomination and confirmation activities, and the settlement process.
• Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, databases (Oracle/MS SQL/PostGreSQL) and technology stacks.
• Experience writing and optimizing database queries (SQL preferred).
• Experience supporting ETL processes (procedures, jobs, views, etc.).
• Experience creating and supporting integrations between public clouds (Azure or AWS) – using cloud-based constructs.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, XML, or XSL preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or a related combination of education and experience.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize concurrent and competing priority assignments.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support when required.

The base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000/yr. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, location, experience, and alignment with the job requirements. The range listed is just one component of Diversified Energy’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
