Role Focus

Build, rebuild, install, and repair the machines that drive production. You’ll be the go-to for advanced mechanical troubleshooting, basic electrical diagnostics, and smart, sustainable fixes.

How You’ll Contribute

• Follow and improve maintenance/repair procedures for production machinery and tooling.
• Log downtime codes and manage work orders in Plex for full visibility and analytics.
• Use mechanical and electrical prints to troubleshoot effectively.
• Leverage advanced knowledge of press operation and lubrication systems.
• Evaluate bearing and motor life; identify and correct over/under-lubrication.
• Repair/replace/troubleshoot press mechanical components with guidance from a Level III mechanic as needed.
• Perform advanced mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting to isolate and resolve issues.
• Operate shop equipment safely, including hand tools, surface grinders, wheel pullers, torches, pipe threaders, hydraulic jacks, welders, scissor/boom lifts, lathes, forklifts, milling machines, and drill presses; apply basic rigging practices.
• Coach Level I Press Maintenance Mechanics to build bench strength.
• Perform preventative maintenance and help update PM schedules to enhance reliability and quality.

Where & When

Cusseta, AL — 1st Shift : 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday .
Expect occasional early, late, or weekend coverage to meet customer and production commitments.

What It Takes

• High school diploma or GED.
• English proficiency sufficient for safe, effective work (instructions, safety procedures, company communications).
• At least 5 years of machine repair experience (required); 10+ years preferred.
• Robotics and press-specific training (preferred).
• Journeyman card or Machine Repair Journeyman Apprenticeship completion, or equivalent education/contact hours (preferred).
