EXPERIENCED CNC PRESS BRAKE SET-UP OPERATOR

Minimum of five (5) years of CNC press brake setup experience is desired.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a highly skilled operator who can independently program, set up, and run CNC press brakes with minimal supervision.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Calculate programming inputs for the controller
• Select proper tooling
• Complete full machine setup independently
• Plan and execute bending sequences efficiently and accurately

Strong mathematical ability is essential. Candidates must possess excellent math skills , including geometry or higher-level math proficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed drawings and production routers
• Perform precise mathematical calculations related to bend deductions, angles, and layouts
• Plan sequence of operations based on part requirements
• Select and position correct flats, V-blocks, radius, and special-purpose die sets
• Program CNC controller to produce accurate bends
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and tape measures (standard and metric)
• Maintain quality standards in compliance with company policies and specifications
• Update computer records and production documentation
• Perform required preventative maintenance on press brakes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned
