Galvanizing Coordinator - Nucor Towers and Structures

As a part of Nucor's New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. Basic Job Functions: This position is responsible for numerous production related duties and will work closely with the Production Supervisor(s) and Leads to ensure an organized and efficient flow of materials through the plant while meeting established daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Input both internal and external customer orders and prepare associated production paperwork.
- Assist team with production order invoices.
- Prepare shipping documents post-production.
- Generate CoC's for customer orders prior to shipping.
- Support team with all inquiries to help answer customer questions regarding scheduling/availability.
- Maintains records and files, processes email, and answers the phone.
- Stay current on production schedule.
- Capture all paperwork for receiving consumables and any byproducts shipping out.
- Proven commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Maintain professionalism, open communication, and display behaviors that help develop the team.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Safety - Must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, procedures, and houskeeping standards at all times.
- Communica ti on Skills - The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicating information so that others will understand.
- Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
- Problem Solving & Judgment/Decision Making : Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options in order to choose the most appropriate solution.
- Computers and Electronics : Proficiency in utilizing computer resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Organizing, Planning & Priori ti zing Work -- Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
- At least one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least one year's experience in administrative role.
- D365 experience is a plus.
